LiFePO4 vs lead-acid: what Indian homes should know
Weight, depth of discharge, charging speed, and total cost of ownership over 5–8 years.

Lead-acid batteries are familiar and cheaper upfront, but usable capacity is limited if you want long life. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) can safely use a much deeper discharge and typically lasts far more cycles.
Lithium packs are lighter, charge faster with the right charger profile, and need less maintenance. Factor in electricity savings from higher efficiency when you compare total cost.
If you already own an inverter, confirm charger compatibility or use a lithium-ready inverter. Our support team can help match pack voltage and BMS communication requirements.
